If an un-deployed mechanical timepiece, watch modification dial, bezel insert, or premium storage array arrives with a verified manufacturing defect (such as misaligned dial markers, non-functional calendar date wheels, split link pins, or pre-scratched case surfaces), displays transit damage, or deviates from your ordered dimensional metrics, you may request a fresh exchange or credit replacement within 7 days of delivery. To qualify for a horological hardware verification claim, the items must be entirely unworn, unadjusted, completely free of micro-scratches on polished surfaces, link-sizing tool marks, or strap crease lines, and stored inside their original pristine retail packaging with all protective clear plastic factory films, outer box structures, tag attachments, and safety engineering labels entirely untampered.
3.2 Precision Alteration & Custom Component Exclusions
To maintain absolute structural security, pristine surface purity, and component-level safety across our network, any individual watch movement, balance staff assembly, replacement crystal gasket, mod hands set, or custom dial component that has been unsealed from its protective factory case capsules, mounted onto a test movement block, or customized using modification tools cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances. Furthermore, custom-engraved case backs or high-volume corporate promotional batch orders are strictly excluded from standard returns.
3.3 Quality Verification & Financial Replenishment
Once your horological cargo or logistics shipment is safely received back at our central technical distribution hub, it undergoes a rigorous diagnostic movement amplitude test, pressure-chamber water seal audit, and a strict sterile optical scan under magnification to confirm its original physical state. Approved claims are processed as immediate store wallet credits or direct financial replacements within 7–10 business days. Return logistics and secure courier arrangements for verified warehouse errors or shipment discrepancies will be fully managed and covered by Modhorology.
